Fletcher Building today announced the appointment of Nick Traber as Chief Executive of its Concrete division, replacing Ian Jones who will remain with the Group.

Fletcher Building CEO Ross Taylor said: “Nick Traber brings significant global experience to our Concrete division, having worked in several different markets over the course of his career with LafargeHolcim, one of the world’s leading producers of cement, aggregates, ready-mix concrete and building solutions and products.

“His current role is leading LafargeHolcim’s business in its home market of Switzerland and Northern Italy with over 1,000 employees. He has played a key role in driving the transformation of the business, leading programmes focused around innovation, sustainability and digitalization.” Incumbent Chief Executive of the Concrete division, Ian Jones will remain in his current role over the coming months to support the leadership transition to Nick.
