Graham Darlow Appointed Chief Executive of Construction Division

Fletcher Building Limited announces that it has appointed Graham Darlow as chief executive of the Construction division.

The appointment follows the decision to separate the Infrastructure division into two, with the creation of individual Construction and Concrete divisions.

As chief executive of the Construction division, Graham will have responsibility for Fletcher Building’s engineering and general construction business, the South Pacific construction business, residential house building activities, and Fletcher EQR, which is managing residential repairs for the Earthquake Commission in Canterbury.

Graham has been with Fletcher Building since 1989 and is currently the General Manager of Fletcher Construction Engineering.  He has considerable experience within the construction sector, and has worked on significant infrastructure projects such as Te Papa Museum, marine works, tunnels, energy projects, bridges and transport projects.

Graham also has a wealth of governance experience.  He was selected by the Government as a founding member of the Christchurch infrastructure alliance, he is the current chair of the consortium board that won the $1.4b Waterview Connection tunnels, and he is the Deputy President of the Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand.
