Fletcher Building is saddened by the passing today of former Fletcher Challenge chief executive and chairman Sir Ronald Trotter.
Sir Ron was involved with Fletcher Challenge as chief executive and chairman from 1980 to 1995. Despite retiring 15 years ago, there are still many current Fletcher Building employees that worked for Sir Ron and recall the significant contribution he made to the company.
Sir Ron was instrumental in the formation of Fletcher Challenge in 1980, from which today's Fletcher Building was formed.
The company would like to express its condolences to the Trotter family for their loss.
